Walkers with Seat Distribution:

Able People Foundation, advocate of people with disabilities, will be providing walkers with seat that usually cost hundreds of dollars to elderly and individuals with physical limitations at no cost. All walkers will include seat, brakes, basket,up to 287 lbs capacity and adjustable handles.

To qualify and receive free walker as described above, you must:

have walking limitation because of age or disability;
not have insurance or your insurance will not cover one;
not be able to afford to purchase one with your own funds (proof of income must be provided;
live in Bay area, thereby giving you access to our office in Milpitas for adjustment and pickup;
provide proof of walking limitation because of age or disability from your medical professional or social worker;
all pending requests and documentations must be received by March 30th, 2009.

We will accept referral letter from your social worker to verify your disability, lack of income and insurance. To apply, you must sign-up with our program and login.Click on "Register here" below, and apply. Then fax your referral letter and required information to 408-273-6660
